29JUL     Flight to Moscow then on to Novosibirsk.
30JUL     You are met by our driver and transferred to hotel.  City Tour of Novobirsk. Sightseeing: Lenin Square, the Opera and Ballet Theatre, the Chapel of St Nikolas (the geographical centre of the Russian Empire), the Aleksandr Nevsky Cathedral, the Railway Station, the Cathedral of the Ascension, the Scientific and Technical library, the Ob Harbour, the Trans-Siberian Bridge, the Russian Institute of Archaeology and Ethnography.31JUL     A visit to the Mineralogy Museum (collection of minerals, of ancient Russia flora and fauna, as well as decorative stones, it may be possible to buy talismans). A visit to the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography (about 3000 objects: instruments, arms, pottery and cultural artefacts from the Neolithic period, the Bronze Age and the Middles Ages, includes the Pazyrlyk mummy). Then on to the open-air Railway Museum (devoted to the creation of the Trans-Siberian Railway, 60 objects on display, early 20th century locomotives). And finally a visit to the Ob electrical power station.
